1. Technology Sharing
Technology and Innovation are key driving forces in shaping the ITS industry. It is essential for us to be kept abreast of emerging technologies, new mobility concepts and collaborative opportunities in this rapidly evolving market.
ITS Singapore aims to provide the platform to facilitate easy exchange and sharing of latest technological developments with and for our members. These platforms include organised visits to member companies to view latest technology offerings, annual flagship ITS Singapore Summits and webinars.
We want to help our members grow and build competencies through organising targeted training and sharing related to intelligent transportation.
2. Business Collaborations
ITS Singapore and its members are thought leaders in the industry. We bring together professionals in public and private organisations, practitioners, academics and researchers related to ITS, and create opportunities for business collaboration.
Given its diverse membership, ITS Singapore keeps our members closely-knitted with regular industry networking sessions, company visits, webinars, annual ITS Singapore Summit and Annual Dinner. These activities provide opportunities to create new connections, foster beneficial partnership and collaboration.
3. ITS Congress
ITS Asia Pacific Forum
As a board member of the ITS Asia-Pacific, ITS Singapore shares its vision to promote cooperation and coordination of ITS efforts within the Asia-Pacific region.
Part of ITS Asia-Pacific’s efforts to achieve its vision includes organising the annual ITS Asia-Pacific Forum (except for the year when the ITS World Congress is hosted by an Asia-Pacific country). During which, regional ITS experts and leaders are given a platform to share about the emerging technological advances and benefits that ITS delivers, and to connect with other ITS experts and leaders from within the region. It was an honour for Singapore to be the host country for the 9th ITS Asia-Pacific Forum in 2008.
ITS Singapore will take the lead in setting up a Singapore Pavilion, with support from Enterprise Singapore, to bring Singapore’s ITS solutions and offerings to the region. Through organisation of networking reception such as “Singapore Night”, members are able to network and interact with regional ITS counterparts to secure global insights and explore market expansion.
ITS World Congress
ITS World Congress is the world’s largest and most prominent conference focused on ITS. About 10,000 delegates from over 100 countries are expected to attend this annual event that is hosted by a different country and region every year.
ITS Singapore actively participates at the annual ITS World Congresses through organising B2B mission trips, networking sessions, exhibitions, speaking and moderating sessions with our delegation. We have a strong alliance with our ITS counterparts from Asia-Pacific, Europe and America that can provide access to speaking opportunities, capability-building opportunities and B2B matching opportunities.
Singapore successfully hosted the 26th ITS World Congress in 2019 with a record-breaking attendance of more than 14,000 participants from over 95 countries.

4. Youth Development
In ITS Singapore, we believe that developing the next generation of ITS experts is an important task. Youths members of ITS Singapore will get opportunities for industry exposure ahead of their graduation, through youth-friendly programmes like hackathons, career talk series and technical visits by professionals. These programmes seek to inspire and develop the youths’ interest in ITS, with the hope that they will move on to build fulfilling careers in the ITS industry.
5. Start-Up
ITS Singapore aims to create an ecosystem that provides opportunities to start-up companies with innovative ITS solutions. Through this new initiative, start-up companies can be matched to established member companies to forge potential collaboration and partnership.
